Shrewsbury explosion victim returns to scene

A victim of a severe explosion which ripped through a Shrewsbury building had returned to the scene.

Over two months after a gas explosion ripped through a building in central Shrewsbury, victim Sarah Pearse has returned to the scene.

The 19-year-old suffered 65% burns in the flames which engulfed her flat, and spent three weeks in an induced coma at Selly Oak Hospital.

Ms Pearse and boyfriend Scott Goldbold said they were impatient for answers to what caused the explosion.

Health and safety officers said the probe would take a further two months.
