Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn has 'sell-out' year

Bosses at a Shropshire theatre which has been open for a year said most of its shows had been sell outs.

Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn opened on 22 February 2009 and its first 20 shows had been completely sold out with extra dates being arranged.

Its first pantomime sold out for most of its 47 shows, with its capacity figure hovering at 97%.

The new theatre includes a 650-seat main auditorium, a 250-seat studio theatre and a dance studio.
