Farmer injured by bullock in pen

A farmer has been flown to hospital after being injured by a bullock.

An ambulance and Cosford air ambulance went to the farm between Ludlow and Bridgnorth, Shropshire, about 0800 GMT.

The 52-year-old man farmer was in a pen with the bullock which was believed to have thrown him across the floor, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

"Despite suffering severe neck, leg and chest pain, the man was able to clamber out of the pen where help was summoned," a service spokeswoman added.
