Flu school will reopen on Monday

A Shropshire primary school which was struck by a "flu-like" illness is to reopen on Monday after being shut for nearly a week.

About 30 children and six adults were off sick on Tuesday from Tilstock Primary School, near Whitchurch.

A decision was taken to shut the school to try to contain the infection.

Shropshire Council said that after "careful consideration" and monitoring of the situation it was decided the school could reopen on Monday.
