Flu school 'may reopen on Monday'

Education chiefs have said they are reviewing whether to reopen a Shropshire primary school, hit by a "flu-like" illness, again on Monday.

On Tuesday about 30 children and six adults were off sick from Tilstock Primary School, near Whitchurch.

Shropshire Council shut the school to try to contain the infection.

Parents were warned to be aware of the symptoms of flu and swine flu and to contact the National Pandemic Flu Service if they were concerned.

The Health Protection Agency advises people with flu-like symptoms to stay off work or school for at least five days.
