Biker dies in collision with car

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Shropshire.

The crash happened close to the junction of Hampton Hill and Holyhead Road in Wellington, Telford, at about 0920 GMT.

The biker was taken by ambulance to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

One person in the car who was believed to be suffering from shock was taken to hospital as a precaution.
