Road £730,000 revamp plans shown

Transport bosses have unveiled plans for a £730,000 revamp of a major road in a Shropshire town centre.

Council chiefs want to widen the pavements of Whitburn Street, in Bridgnorth, relay the kerbs and make Whitburn Street permanently one-way.

The work is expected to take 16 weeks to complete and will start at some point next year.

The plans will be on show for members of the public to comment on at 60 Whitburn Street on 18 and 19 November.
