Village makes business shortlist

A Shropshire village has made the shortlist for a £400,000 award to enable it to set up a business to breathe life into its economy.

Minsterley joins 27 villages across the UK competing for one of the six awards of £400,000 from the Big Lottery Fund.

The winning villages will be filmed for a year as they set up their businesses.

Minsterley has been awarded up to £10,000 to develop its proposal to help an environmental group in the Rea Valley make the area self reliant.
