Motorbike crash victim is named

A man who died when his motorcycle collided with a car in Shropshire has been named.

Andrew John Mason, 46, of Fordhouses, Wolverhampton, was pronounced dead at the scene on the A442 at Quatford, near Bridgnorth, on Sunday afternoon.

Mr Mason's green Kawasaki collided with a blue Honda CR-V car.

Those inside the car were not injured but left shaken by the incident, West Mercia Police said. The force has appealed for information.
