Motorcyclist hurt in crash dies

A motorcyclist injured in a collision with a car has died in hospital.

He suffered serious head and chest injuries when his Triumph Daytona motorcycle collided with a Honda Jazz on the A458 in Stanmore, Bridgnorth.

The man, thought to be in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital. The driver and passenger in the Honda suffered minor injuries, West Mercia Police said.

The road was closed for several hours after the crash which happened last Sunday afternoon.
