Man arrested following collision

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following a collision between two cars in Shropshire.

The collision involving a grey Ford Fiesta and a black Land Rover Freelander 4x4 happened on the B4194 at Buttonoak on Tuesday.

One of the drivers, a man in his late teens, is alleged to have assaulted the other motorist, a man in his 50s, West Mercia Police said.

He was arrested and released on police bail pending further inquiries.

The men were not injured and did not need hospital treatment.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Bridgnorth police station.
