Two women hurt in car accidents

Two women were cut free from their cars and taken to hospital by air ambulance following separate crashes in Shropshire, fire officials said.

In the first accident, a driver was injured in a three-car crash on the B4364 road between Cleobury Mortimer and Burwarton at about 1230 GMT.

A second woman was injured in another crash near Telford at about 1400 GMT.

The crash happened at the Brockton Way junction, officials said. No other details were immediately available.
