Police investigating the disappearance of a mother who went missing after a night out in Shropshire have released CCTV images of her from that evening.

Mandy Franks, 40, of Shrewsbury, was seen on footage from the Montgomery's Tower bar, which she was known to have visited on 4 October, police said.

Miss Franks, from Belle Vue Road, went to the Lower Claremont Bank venue after leaving Frank Cafe Bar in Frankwell.

Her family is "incredibly concerned" for her safety, police said.

Wine bar

The mother-of-one left Frank Cafe Bar at about 2200 BST and made her way across the Welsh Bridge to Montgomery's Tower, arriving there at about 2215 BST.

Miss Franks was believed to have had a brief conversation with a doorman outside the pub between about 2350 BST and 0005 BST, before walking across the road towards the car park.

Detectives are still keen to hear from anyone who might have been in Grazia restaurant or wine bar on the night of 4 October.

They would also like to talk to anybody who that night drove or walked along Town Walls, Claremont Bank, St Chad's Terrace, Lower Claremont Bank, Victoria Quay, Priory Road, Victoria Avenue or St Austin's Friars.

Police said a number of people had already contacted them following appeals for information.
