A gang of men in balaclavas raided a Shropshire bank and grabbed boxes of money being used to stock a cash machine.

Three men smashed a window of the Lloyds TSB bank in High Street, Dawley, Telford, during the robbery earlier.

The men fled in a black VW Golf car, which was recovered in Little Dawley.

West Mercia Police said it was unclear how much money was taken but no-one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives.
