Firefighters have tackled a blaze at a restaurant in a Worcestershire town.

Four appliances were at the scene of the fire which is believed to have started in the kitchen of a restaurant on St Anns Road, Malvern.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the building, which is believed to have been empty.

The incident occurred near the A449 which had been partly closed by a crash between two vehicles resulting in disruptions. The road has now reopened.
