Police name biker in fatal crash

A motorcyclist who died after he was involved in a collision with a car and an articulated lorry near Shrewsbury has been named.

Richard Barry Smallwood was taken to Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham, after Saturday's incident on the B4394 near the Atcham Industrial Estate.

Mr Smallwood, 36, from Admaston, Telford, died on Sunday morning.

West Mercia police, which is appealing for witnesses, said an inquest is due to be opened on Tuesday.
