Three schoolchildren have been injured in a road collision involving a school bus and a car.

The children, thought to be teenagers, were treated at the scene of the crash, in Shrewsbury, for neck injuries and taken to hospital.

Ambulance staff said the children are not thought to be seriously hurt.

The collision took place in Roman Road during the afternoon. The pupils are thought to be from outside the Shrewsbury area.
