Motorcyclist critical after crash

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition in hospital after his bike collided with a lorry.

The crash happened outside the Atcham Industrial Estate at about 0930 BST on Saturday.

The 36-year-old man from Telford was taken by air ambulance to Selly Oak Hospital, in Birmingham.

He had suffered very serious chest, abdominal, pelvic, arm and leg injuries and was also bleeding heavily from his right shoulder.

He suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after arriving at the hospital and had to be revived.
