Murals disguise attraction revamp

Colourful murals have been designed to disguise development work from visitors during a £10m revamp of a tourist site.

Victorian-themed town Blists Hill at Ironbridge, Shropshire, is having a new visitors' centre built along with new displays.

Local school children and adults with learning difficulties have now created a range of colourful murals as part of a community arts project.

The work is expected to be completed later this year.

The new attractions are expected to pull in 100,000 extra visitors a year.
