Fresh appeal over boy's assault
Police are issuing a fresh appeal for information after a 13-year-old boy was threatened by more than a dozen youths and fell down a ditch breaking his leg.

The boy was walking with a friend past a bus stop in Woodside, Telford, when he was threatened by the group of up to 15 youths.

Police said the boy's injury was "extremely serious".

Det Con Allan Black, said: "We are keen to trace the group of youths involved in this incident."

He added: "The victim has suffered an extremely serious injury and it is important that we get to the bottom of exactly what happened.

"Although the incident occurred a couple of weeks ago I would appeal for people to cast their minds back and anyone who believes they may have witnessed this assault should contact police."
