Thousands vote in online survey
Carding Mill Valley
People can vote until the end of November
Nearly 17,000 people have so far voted in an online poll to find Shropshire's best-loved beauty spot.

The Pride of Place survey offers people 10 choices for their top attraction in the county.

Carding Mill Valley and the Shropshire hills entry is currently in the lead, with 30% of votes cast, followed by Shropshire countryside.

People can have their say by following the link from Shropshire County Council's website until 30 November.

The Pride of Place poll is part of the government's 'Connect to your Council' campaign, which aims to encourage people to access services online.

More than 16,950 votes have already been logged in the Shropshire study.
