Plans unveiled to move car park
Wellington Station
Improved facilities for disabled drivers are expected
A railway station car park in Shropshire could be closed in a move to improve public transport links.

A new bus station may be built in Wellington on the car park next to the railway, with a replacement parking area created at the current bus hub.

A month-long consultation on the scheme began on Thursday.

New bus shelters, information points and better access for disabled drivers at the train station form part of Telford and Wrekin Council's proposal.

Public exhibitions of the plans will take place throughout November.
