Meat Loaf opera auditions staged

Meat Loaf has inspired the initiative in the village

Auditions have been held in a village on the Shropshire/Wales border for a rock opera based around the music of Meat Loaf.

People in Llandrinio have written the story after a group of musicians got together and organisers have been looking for singers to take part.

It is hoped the event will be staged outdoors next summer and include a firework finale to Bat Out of Hell.

The auditions took place on Sunday night at the village hall.
