A Shropshire police officer caught reaching up to 159mph in an unmarked police car has had his dangerous driving conviction upheld.
Pc Milton had been convicted after a second trial
Pc Mark Milton, of Telford, an advanced police driver, was convicted last year after originally being acquitted.
In March the High Court ordered that Pc Milton's advanced driver training must be considered.
A district judge has now upheld the conviction of Pc Milton, 41, who is still serving with West Mercia Police.
Pc Milton, of Bratton, has always denied he was driving dangerously on the M54 in Shropshire while on duty in December 2003.
He told the latest hearing in Ludlow that he was driving the way his employers had trained him to do.
Despite the conviction Pc Milton was given an "absolute discharge".
Speaking after the hearing, a force spokesman said: "Steps have been put in place by West Mercia Constabulary to ensure that all advanced drivers know what they can and cannot do when driving vehicles above the posted speed limit."
