Football fan buys club turnstile
A Shrewsbury Town fan has paid more than 3,000 for a turnstile from the club's Gay Meadow ground ahead of a move to a new stadium.

Fixtures and fittings from the ground, which was prone to flooding and has been the team's home for 97 years, were auctioned by club officials on Sunday.

Shrewsbury Town will be at New Meadow on Oteley Road by next season.

Ann Thorn, from Shrewsbury, bought the Station End turnstile but says she is not sure what to do with it.
