Police warning after sheep mauled
A sheep has been mauled to death and another badly mutilated in the Shropshire countryside.

Three dogs on the loose in the area are thought to have attacked the sheep in Croesau Bach, near Oswestry.

West Mercia Police said officers rounded up the suspected dogs close to the scene. They will be held until their owners are located.

Police have issued a reminder to dog owners that farmers are entitled to shoot any dog seen attacking livestock.
