Grandfather sails the ocean waves
A 67-year-old grandfather-of-eight is embarking on a transatlantic voyage, taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

Tony Burgess, of Ellerton Hall, near Newport, Shropshire, will participate in the second leg of the race from Brazil to South Africa.

Mr Burgess is an inexperienced sailor but all sailors must complete a course before taking part.

The race, which is aimed at amateurs, has been running since 1996.
