Rider injured in fall from horse
A 50-year-old woman has been injured in a fall from a horse in Shropshire.

The rider - part of a visiting hunt from Suffolk - fell from her mount in a field off the A489 Lydham to Craven Arms road.

Witnesses said she landed on her head as the horse jumped a hedge and she was flown to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with spinal injuries.

Other members of the hunt helped the emergency services in rescuing the woman, who has not been named.
