People in a Shropshire village are to gather to mark the first anniversary of the day 100 homes were flooded.

Residents in Albrighton were cut off when roads in and out were swamped and water levels rose to nearly 4ft (1.2m).

An engineer will outline what caused the incident at Wednesday's meeting at St Mary Magdalen's church hall.

The National Flood Forum - set up by flooding victims - will also be present and available to offer advice on protecting homes from flooding.
