The transformation got an award from a national heritage trust
A team which oversaw the transformation of a disused railway station which was turned into a visitor centre have been honoured for their hard work.

The station building in Oswestry, Shropshire, now known as the Cambrian Visitor Centre, has undergone a 2.1m restoration programme in recent years.

Oswestry Borough Council gave officers who developed the project its annual Team of the Year award.

The building has already won an award from the Railway Heritage Trust.
