Affordable homes plans approved
More than 100 homes are to be built in Shropshire with one around a third to be classed as affordable for low income buyers.

Councillors in Shrewsbury have agreed 128 homes to be built on the site of a bowling club off Ellesmere Road.

Some residents opposed the development citing fears about noise, pollution and traffic congestion.

Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council said pedestrian and cycle paths to the town centres would be built.
