Man in court over double killings

A man accused of killing two massage parlour workers in Shrewsbury has appeared at a special sitting of the town's magistrates.

Garry Allan Harding, 22, is charged with the murders of Anne Eels of Llansantffraid, Powys, and Samantha Clare Tapper, of Wolverhampton.

Mr Harding, of Gilmour Court, Severn Street, Welshpool, Powys, spoke only to confirm his name and address.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on 4 September.

The two women were found dead in the early hours of 2 July at Rachael's Health Studio in Frankwell, Shrewsbury.
