Man charged over double killings

A man accused of murdering two massage parlour workers found bludgeoned to death in Shrewsbury is due in court.

The 22-year-old, who has not been named by Dyfed-Powys Police, will appear before magistrates in the city.

The bodies of Annie Eels, 55, of Llansantffraid, Powys, and Samantha Tapper, 24, of Wolverhampton, were found on 2 July.

Dyfed-Powys Police detained a man on Tuesday in connection with the inquiry on behalf of the West Mercia force.
