Hand swabs were taken from those queueing to get into the clubs

Drinkers in a Shropshire town have been tested by police for drugs.
More than 400 people gave samples to police in an operation at two nightclubs in Wellington, Telford.
A scanner which analyses swabs taken from hands found that some drinkers queuing at the clubs had been in contact with drugs such as cocaine.
Some 74 people tested positive during the evening, said West Mercia Police, although officers said drugs could have come from contact with beer glasses.
