FA chief opens new sports village

Sundorne includes a climbing wall
A pioneering new sports village was officially opened in Shropshire on Thursday afternoon.

The £10m Village in Sundorne offers 15 different sports on one site in the Shrewsbury area.

It boasts 16 grass football pitches, all-weather pitches, an eight-court multi-sports hall and the latest in rock-climbing walls.

The FA's Director of Football Development Sir Trevor Brooking opened the centre.
