Jobs lost 'due to energy prices'
Fifty jobs at a Shropshire aluminium rolling mill have become the latest victims of rising energy prices, according to bosses.

Bridgnorth Aluminium is ceasing supplying some markets with aluminium coils as they are unprofitable.

It said it will focus on core products like those for the printing industry.

The general manager, Simon MacVicker, said the rising costs of electricity and gas has forced the company to save money elsewhere.
