Migrating birds plague residents
Harlescott starlings
The migrating starlings have been plaguing residents
Residents on a Shropshire estate are being plagued by hundreds of birds.

Up to 2,000 migrating starlings are swooping above houses on the Harlescott area of Shrewsbury - and are leaving their mess on residents' cars.

One resident said he had to clean his car every day. Another said the birds were flying about all the time and had become "rather a pain".

A spokesman for the Shropshire Ornithology Society said the birds would move on in the next few weeks.
