Five people have died in a spate of road accidents within 24 hours.
On Friday night a man and a youth were killed in separate crashes on the old A5 near Atcham in Shropshire and on the A454 near Wolverhampton.
Two drivers died on Saturday morning when a car left the M6 near Stoke-on-Trent and another hit a van on the A518 in Staffordshire near Newport.
One man died as two Jaguars crashed on the A529 at Woodseaves in Shropshire on Saturday evening.
Witnesses sought
In the second incident on Friday evening, a black Ford Focus car was travelling towards Wolverhampton at 2300GMT when it left the carriageway and ended up in a field on its roof.
The vehicle was carrying four Asian youths from Wolverhampton, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident involving the Jaguars happened at 1700GMT on Saturday.
A red XJ6 and a red X-type estate were both heading for Market Drayton when the accident occurred. The man who died was driving the XJ6.
Police are appealing for witnesses to all of the crashes.
