Road re-opened after major blaze

Police have now re-opened a major road in Shropshire after a serious blaze several days ago.

Part of the A442 Eastern Primary between Wombridge and Telford Town Centre was shut after the fire at the Snedshill Industrial Estate.

The fire on Friday night damaged a number of walls bordering the carriageway of the A442 and 80 firefighters were called to the scene.

The northbound section re-opened but southbound was still shut on Thursday.
