Suspicion over second home fire

Fire investigators are not ruling out a link between a suspicios fire at a flat in Shrewsbury and an earlier blaze in the town.

Two men were treated for the effects of breathing in smoke after being trapped in the flat in Harlescott Grange.

Firefighters using breathing equipment had to rescue the men.

Station Officer John Griffiths said it was similar to a fire in Harlescott on Saturday in which a pregnant woman and child had to be rescued.
