Racist graffiti daubed on signs
Police are investigating racially-offensive graffiti which has appeared on road signs in Shropshire.

The graffiti, including red swastikas, appeared over the weekend between Shrewsbury and Baschurch.

West Mercia Police said at least six signs had been defaced. They have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Ch Insp Martin Whitelegg said: "These roads through Ryton and Baschurch are particularly busy."

He added: "It's highly likely that someone would have seen the offenders in the area, maybe vehicles nearby from the people who did this, and obviously we'd like those people to contact us."
