New Meadow move may happen sooner
Gay Meadow during flooding

Developers could move onto Shrewsbury Town Football Club's ground before a new stadium is fully completed.

Last year plans were approved to demolish Gay Meadow and build more than 150 new homes there.

Jennings Estates wants the club to move to its new venue, the New Meadow, when it reaches half of its full capacity.

Planning officers are recommending approval as it would allow the Gay Meadow area to be redeveloped sooner, without affecting games.
