Clean-up project planned in town
A week of action to clean up an estate in Telford is being planned for later this month.

The operation in Malinslee, which follows a similar scheme last year, will target fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, scruffy gardens and graffiti.

Those involved include the police, fire service, the Wrekin Housing Trust and Telford and Wrekin Borough Council.

An education programme focusing on tackling anti-social behaviour and promoting recycling will also be held.

The scheme will run from 12 to 16 September.
