Two men arrested in connection with the death of elderly peace campaigner Hilda Murrell have been released.
The suspects were held overnight after being detained by West Mercia Constabulary on Monday.
The 79-year-old's body was discovered in a copse near her Shrewsbury home four days after she disappeared in March 1984.
A force spokesman said the suspects, who have not been named, had been released pending further inquiries.
A post-mortem examination showed she was stabbed several times, but died from hypothermia.
Andrew George, 36, of Meadow Farm Drive, Shrewsbury, appeared in court last year charged with Miss Murrell's murder and unlawfully taking or carrying her away against her will.
His was remanded in custody until April.
A directions hearing in his case is due to take place at Wolverhampton Crown
Court on Thursday.
