Teenager held after man stabbed in Oxford city centre

An investigation is under way

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man who was stabbed outside a bar later died.

It is understood the 22-year-old victim was involved in an altercation near the Que Pasa bar in Oxford city centre.

The incident happened at the junction of Queen Street and Castle Street at about 0300 BST.

The man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead. A youth of 16 remains in custody, police said.
