Teenager stabbed in stomach by two men in Oxford

A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach when he was attacked by two men in Oxford.

The incident happened at about 1930 GMT on Thursday in Agnes Court, off Oxford Road, in Cowley.

Police said the victim suffered a small puncture wound to his abdomen and was taken to hospital but later discharged.

One of his attackers is of mixed race, 6ft tall and aged about 20 while the other one is black and slightly taller. They both wore dark clothes.

Det Insp Simon Morton has appealed for anyone who saw two men acting suspiciously, or saw the attack take place, to contact police.
