Courtney Love is speaking at the Oxford Union
Singer Courtney Love is due to speak at the Oxford Union debating chamber later.
The widow of former Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain will take the stand at 2030 GMT for one hour.
The event at Frewin Court is not open to the public and Love's audience will be made up of Oxford Union members.
The singer, 45, is currently on tour with her band Hole and is due to perform at Shepherds Bush Empire in London next week.
Love is currently in a battle for custody of her daughter with Cobain, Frances Bean.
Yesterday a Los Angeles judge extended an order restricting Courtney Love's access to the 17-year-old, until 9 April.
In December 2009, temporary control of Frances Bean was granted to Kurt Cobain's mother Wendy O'Connor and the late frontman's sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain.
Previous speakers at the Oxford Union include Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton and Diego Maradona.
