Jermaine Jackson has pulled out of a memorial event to his late brother at the Oxford Union.

The singer, who performed with Michael in the Jackson 5, blamed other work commitments for postponing the visit on Tuesday, the union said.

Michael visited the Oxford Union in March 2001 to launch his charity, Heal the Kids, which raises awareness of children's welfare.

The union said it hoped to reschedule the event later in the academic year.
