CCTV footage has been released of an armed robbery in which a cashier was threatened with what police describe as a plastic gun.

Three men were involved in the incident at a petrol station in Oxpens Road, Oxford on 12 October.

The member of staff was made to hand over about £50 in cash during the robbery at about 2130 BST.

Thames Valley Police said the cashier was not injured, and appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Det Con Matt Welsh, investigating the incident, said: "The CCTV footage shows one of the men jumping over the counter and threatening the member of staff.

"As you can imagine, the member of staff was left quite shaken by what happened but wasn't hurt."
