Man charged over fatal stabbing

Devon McPherson - victim

A 48-year-old man has been charged with the murder of an Oxford man who was stabbed in the neck.

Devon McPherson, 42, was knifed during an argument with a man in Ridgefield Road, Cowley, and collapsed at the nearby Regal nightclub on 18 May.

Headley Thompson, from London, has been charged with murder and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Monday morning.
